The Destroyer & the Whirlwind
The Doncaster Dome were treated to a special appearance from their very own Destroyer during the 2011 Snooker Legends tour. As part of the show Matthew "the Doncaster Destroyer Lester" partnered the "Whirlwind" Jimmy White in a frame of doubles where they took on the 1980 World Champion "the Grinder" Cliff Thorburn and a raffle winner. After the event Jimmy White said "It's great to partner Matt, we're good friends, we're still undefeated and we'll take on anyone."
Matt is one of the biggest wheelchair cuesports stars in the UK, a Great Britain representative at international level!
Jimmy is without doubt a legend on both the snooker and pool table

The night also featured trickshots and impressions from John Virgo as well as a mini tournament between Cliff Thorburn, Dennis Taylor, John Parrott and Jimmy White, the event was refereed by Michaela Tabb.
